Top Ten Clouds Shaped Like Dogs

skypoodle Top Ten Clouds Shaped Like Dogs funny dog blogDo you remember your puppy days when you’d lay in a field, look at the sky and use your imagination on the puffs of clouds floating by?

Yup, the good old days. These were the times long before you were asked to humiliate yourself by standing on your hind legs just to get a treat.

Of course in my cloud observation days, I never really got much further than “Hey, that looks like a ball!” or “Hey, that looks like a chewy!” but no one ever accused me of being creative or bright.

Well, I decided to relive my youth by going out and finding me some dog shaped clouds. After spending hours outside I came up with nothing. Probably because it was raining out.

So I did the next best thing…I googled for my canine clouds. Here’s what I found:

Our first entry is this Dachshund running free in the sky. Mmmmm…wiener dogs taste good…especially with mustard and relish.

At number nine we have an albino terrier or Santa Claus. Have you been naughty or nice? Frankly, it doesn’t matter. The terrier is going to bite you anyway.

At number eight we have a small dog on its hind legs begging for a treat. Is that a swedish fish coming its way?

At number seven we have either a seahorse, a poodle or it just may be an excellent example of the new AKC SeaPoodle classification. Since the title says dog shaped clouds, I’m going with a just groomed poodle.

At number six is this police dog. Ok it’s a pig, but it is sitting. Therefore, I’m going to give it a pass and call it a Chow Chow cloud because that’s what it most closely resembles.

At number five is this very heavy dog. It either needs to go on a diet or it could paint itself yellow and change its name to Pooh.

At number four is an obedient dog. Not only did it get its owner’s slippers, but it has found his pipe too. Note the smoke coming from its mouth as it exhales. Bad doggie.

At number three is this Bichon Frise waiting for her dog lover to come home. In case you’re wondering this cloud is waiting for me. I confess, I’ve always had a little crush on the B. Frises in my life.

At number two is this barking Golden Retriever, clearly egging his owner on to just throw the darn ball already.

At number one is this cloud formation of a regal dog. He waits patiently for Sweet Polly Purebred to return home from the supermarket.

I Remember a Charlie Brown Sunday Morning Cartoon – - – - – it was Lucy and Linus and Charlie Brown laying on "THE PITCHERS MOUND" of the cartoon looking up at beautiful white fluffy clouds. IIRC Lucy started out by saying (this is a concept only – I do not have the exact, or even nearly the exact words, "those clouds represent the equality of mankind and everyone in the world should enjoy their beauty." Linus said (concept only) that he could read the "most magical music ever written in the shape of the beautiful clouds." And Charlie Brown, naturally last and most prophetic said – " those clouds look like a cow and a pony to me."

Clouds seem to have appeared in a myriad of shapes and sizes. I’ve known a Britain-shaped cloud, for example. I wonder what shapes of cloud I’ll see in the future?

I am featured on the BBC website and anxious to bring my weblinks to everyone’s attention. Simply search Google for JEREMY KELLER BBC to access the details. You should also be able to look me up on Google by searching for:-
