October 22 | Hmmm...No Comments Yet
Friends of mine have been detained by the Iranian Security Forces. No charges have been announced and they haven’t been seen in days.
I need your help in bringing awareness of this travesty to the world.

New Design in Feline Transportation
October 22 | 1 Comment
You know how sometimes when you see a something, you just have to have it? Like the first time you saw a peanut butter filled kong.
Well I just came across something that I deem a must have item, if not for me, then for my parents. It’s a new design in kitty carriers called Tabby Tote.

The Great Escape
October 20 | Hmmm...No Comments Yet
Some of us take what life gives us and roll with it. While others aren’t satisfied by the status quo.
Look no further than this video to see both types of canines in action.
Which are you? The voyuer or the overachiever?

Loaded Horse Falls Into Pool

It may seem odd, but I love apples. I really do. Usually my father eats all around the core and then gives me the rest to eat, seeds and all.
I hope those seeds don’t germinate. I guess I won’t really know until a twig sprouts out of my ear.
Anyway, I was reading the following story and it may just have given me the reason as to why I like apples so much.

Cat Fight Leads To Crash

Let’s face it, dogs are great companions, whether it’s for a walk, a car ride or even for a sleepless night in bed. Of those three I’d say I’m best known for being a good car passenger. Neigh. A great car passenger.
When it’s time for a ride I’m quick to volunteer to sit in the suicide seat, which is more suicide than seat when my mother is behind the wheel, and watch the world go by. My sister Copper, she prefers the back seat, where the constant rumble of the road puts her into a deep sleep. Regardless, dogs rule when it comes to cars.
Dogs Save Humans, Again
October 15 | Hmmm...No Comments Yet
What would humans do without us? Well, I know one family who would be burning up inside if their neighbor hadn’t been smart enough to adopt a couple of quick thinking canines. Not that there are any other types of dogs…except for Deputy Dawg…he’s kinda slow thinkin’.
Anyway, read CBS 3′s account of our heroes in action.

Walking In Your Sleep
October 14 | Hmmm...No Comments Yet
I love watching my canine friends sleep, especially when they do wacky things.
Take for instance this dog, you know he’s dreaming about chasing a squirrel or a chipmunk or a wild bear. The thing is, you also know he’ll never catch it.
I like watching the dog sitting in the background. He acts as if he’s stuffed. That’s a typical Dalmation for you…they’re such snobs.

Humans Outsourced by Dogs
October 14 | 1 Comment
I’m amazed at the changes that have happened in society since I first put paw on earth. When I was a pup, all we were used for was fetching the paper, chasing the cat and barking at the mailman.
Times have changed. Now we’re allowed to lead blind people into traffic, solve crimes in forensic units and sniff out bombs in remote locales of the world.
But it’s not just high profile jobs we’re taking on, but mundane ones as well. Take, for instance, letting kids read to us, having old people pet us and letting vet trainees express our anal glands in college.
Dog Blessings…and I guess cats too.

I’m not a religious dog, but I am a spiritual one. I believe in a power greater than myself…and no I’m not talking about my owners.
Although I’m pretty sure I’ll be taken care of when I get on the other side of the pearly gates, there’s always a lingering doubt. Especially after I’ve escaped out of the yard or I’ve scarfed something down from the dining room table or if I let a little wee go in the house when my parents weren’t looking. That’s why any opportunity I get to increase my chances to talk with Pete, the saint, I’ll take.
And that’s where Father Robert Young comes in. No, not this Robert Young. Check out his story from Tallahasee.com.
Bunny Blue After Failed Robbery Attempt
October 12 | Hmmm...No Comments Yet
Times are tough, what with the credit crunch, high oil prices and scarce supplies of dog treats in pet food aisles.
If it’s tough for me, I can’t imagine what it’s like for other animals out there. I know that dire times will lead to dire actions on the part of many.
That’s why I’m not surprised about this story of a poor rabbit in Europe taking to a life of crime.
