Shoes – A Foxy Addiction

That all changed recently when the strength of my back legs began to deteriorate. You see we have hardwood floors. Floors my mother finds the need to keep slick like ice. Not the semi-slippery ice driven on by Ice Road Truckers but rather the frozen, anti-friction surface used for speed skating. This makes it difficult to stay upright.
If I didn’t know better I’d think she was setting me up to break my hip. And let’s face it once that happens at my age, I’m never making it out of the vet hospital alive.
Knowing this, I went out and bought myself a pair of shoes to wear. Well it’s actually two pair, for a total of four. They have a rubbery type bottom which sticks to the floor and allows me to cruise from treat station to treat station with ease. They’re nice, although a bit bulky.
A cousin of mine, distant cousin actually, also sees the benefit in having shoes.
The Metro-UK has the full details.
Police hunting for a serial shoe-thief have finally caught the culprit – a mother fox.
They finally made the long-awaited breakthrough after a forest worker found shoes strewn near the fox’s den in the small western German town of Foehren.
A search of a hole near the den revealed a trove of footwear which had recently been stolen overnight from outside locals’ front doors.
“There was everything from ladies’ shoes to trainers,” said a local police spokesman.
“We’ve found between 110 and 120 so far. It seems a vixen stole them for her cubs to play with.”
Although many were missing laces, the shoes were in good condition and their owners were delighted to reclaim them, he said, adding that no reprisals were planned against the thief.
Although I always knew that the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog, I never realized she did it in a pair of DKNYC Foxy Pumps.
