Maybe because he is a puppy still and lightweight. We have a white male boxer ourselves. He is 2 1/2 years old and loves to swim - well he jumps more in the water than swims ;). He demands non-stop action. He is pretty big and has long legs. We have to keep him out from being in the sun for too long or he gets a sunburn. They are not albino, but still get sunburn quicker because of their skin pigmentation. Buford is like a cat :) Never knew dogs could climb that high.
