Noah’s Ark Recreated – Filled With Plastic Animals

Noah’s Ark lives!

To every animal the story of Noah’s Ark holds a certain charm to it. What other ‘tail’ do you know that proactively hooks up animals with each other?

When I hear the story, I put myself in the position of the male dog asked to be a passenger on Noah’s Love Boat. After being served a bowl of water by Isaac (he’s one of the human servants on board), I head back to my cabin. There, a foxy little Wheaton Terrier  awaits my arrival. Our job is simple. To procreate.

I move in to playfully nip at her collar when  . . .  *BAM*, I realize I’m a neutered male.

I don’t even have neuticals for show.

Human Statue Won’t Throw Stick For Dog

Sometimes humans are just jackarses.

No, not the type of arse that carries a dog’s camping gear from the top of a canyon, down to the river bed, and then back up again.

Nope.

I’m talking about the type that laughs at poor, pathetic dogs who only want to enjoy themselves during the limited time they have on earth. Simple pleasures like chasing a stick.

But no, some humans don’t have it in them to even throw the darn thing, like this guy on the bench.

Cat Too Fat for Hawk to Carry

Fat ass. I’ve been called it a few times lately.

It isn’t easy keeping the pounds off when you are older than the dirt you hide your bones under, especially when you have hip displaysia coupled with an ever present hankering for treats.

My health issue has minimized my exercise, and in fact, has allowed me to employ my own live in nurses. OK, the nurses are my parents, but I do allow them to live in my house. If I didn’t who would get up at 3:00 in the morning to carry me downstairs so I can pee? Certainly not my feline sister Mothball.

I know I should save this diatribe until Easter rolls around, but today’s news story makes it a relevant discussion.

Am I the only one that has a problem with the crime perpetrated on children every year around Easter? We are lead to believe, and I use WE because I was once one of the fooled, one of two things; either rabbits lay eggs or they are thieves.

Elephants Arrested at Bus Stop

If you’re going to escape from your life, you need to do it the right way, like the time many moons ago when I ran away from home on a regular basis.

Once busted out of my back yard, I wasn’t stupid enough to head into the city and show boat my whereabouts. No, I knew I needed to stay off the grid in hopes of maintaining my freedom.

It worked like a charm until, well, I got hungry. Then it was time to go back home and allow the old man to catch me, and feed me. Sucker.
